About Evergreen Genealogy Services
I dedicate my love for family heritage to my Grandfather, seen below, who instilled in me the need to remain connected to our past and to our roots.
I began my family history search in the early 1990's when my mother and I traveled to her father's hometown in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. I felt a real connection to the place where he grew up and became the man that I knew. It took me a few years but I have put together his family tree, dating back to the early 1800's when his ancestors came to Cape Breton from the Isle of Barra in Scotland. Since then I have traced my heritage through the lines of each of my grandparents, in some cases back to the early 1600's. My work on my own family tree is forever evolving and growing. I would love to do the same for you.
